Cinnamon and diabetes? I am an herbs lover. But I must admit I did not know about the ability of Cinnamon in controlling diabetes.
From simple colds to stomach upsets to wounds...everything I can get an excuse for using herbs I go for it any time.
In these day and time when every thing is herbal this herbal that, from teas, to toothpaste to soaps, creams and oils, the choice of herbal use is varied. I decided to research more about herbs.
I actually found that many of the herbs we use in cooking were originally for medicinal use and then got incorporated into cooking so that they now became preventive medicine instead of curative.

The answer to this is in the affirmative; yes, it can help and it actually does control type 2 diabetes; the non-insulin dependent diabetics have gotten a boost from this fresh research.
